
ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that it is in close contact with international partners to secure the safety and early repatriation of its citizens detained by Israeli forces from the Global Sumud Flotilla.
The Foreign Office stated that through diplomatic channels of a friendly European country, it has been verified that former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad is in Israeli custody and remains safe and in good health.
According to the ministry, Senator Mushtaq will be presented before a court in line with local legal procedures, and his repatriation will be expedited once deportation orders are issued.

Pakistan has already facilitated the return of several citizens who were previously disembarked from the flotilla, expressing gratitude to brotherly nations that supported the process.
The Foreign Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to the protection of all Pakistanis abroad and anticipates completing the repatriation process within the coming days.
