Pakistan, US strengthen ties with renewed cooperation

Federal Minister for Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, met with US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker in Islamabad, reaffirming the importance of Pakistan-US relations. The meeting highlighted the shared commitment of both countries to strengthen cooperation and build a relationship based on mutual respect. The minister welcomed the US envoy warmly, emphasizing that Pakistan values its longstanding friendship with the United States and seeks to expand collaboration across multiple sectors.

Tarar noted that the recent visit of the Prime Minister to Washington demonstrated the growing desire of both governments to enhance political understanding and explore new avenues of cooperation. He pointed out that this positive engagement reflects a mutual willingness to create opportunities that contribute to stability, peace, and prosperity in the region. Both sides agreed that consistent dialogue would further strengthen trust and bring lasting benefits for the people of both nations.

The discussions also focused on maintaining constructive engagement in political, economic, and social spheres. Moreover, both officials expressed satisfaction over the improving momentum in bilateral relations. They emphasized the need for continued goodwill and cooperation to address shared challenges and seize new opportunities.
