CBD Punjab generates Rs 2.3bn revenue by auctioning CBD Walk Phase 2

Published on: October 2, 2025 2:27 AM

The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as CBD Punjab, has successfully concluded the auction of the second phase of CBD Walk, an exclusive commercial jewel in the prestigious CBD Quaid District near CBD Lake, Gulberg, Lahore. The landmark sealed-bid auction offered sixteen premium 4-Marla commercial units, comprising eight lake-facing and eight park-facing properties. Out of these, 15 units were successfully sold to the highest bidders, while one unit’s auction was cancelled due to late submission of documents by the bidder.

The auction generated PKR 2.3 billion in total sales, with the average unit price reaching Rs 154 million – Rs 24 million higher than the previous auction. The event reaffirmed strong investor confidence, with four bidders offering to pay the entire amount in advance, despite the convenient 12-month payment plan provided by CBD Punjab.

Strategically located beside a scenic two-acre lake, CBD Walk is designed under the innovative Shell & Core model, allowing investors complete freedom to customize interiors to align with their brand identity and customer experience goals. With this forward-looking concept, CBD Walk is envisioned as a premier hub for luxury retail, fine dining, and vibrant commercial activity in the heart of Lahore.

The auction was personally witnessed by CEO CBD Punjab, Imran Amin, and COO Brigadier (R) Mansoor Janjua, reaffirming the authority’s commitment to transparency and credibility.

On this occasion, CEO Imran Amin stated: “The successful auction of CBD Walk’s second phase reflects the strong confidence of investors in our projects. With innovative concepts like the Shell & Core model and world-class infrastructure, CBD Punjab is setting new benchmarks for sustainable commercial development in Pakistan.”

COO Brigadier (R) Mansoor Janjua added: “CBD Punjab has built a strong legacy of transparent and successful land auctions. Today’s event continues that journey, underscoring our dedication to investor trust, economic growth, and modern urban development.”

The leadership team of CBD Punjab – including Executive Director Finance Ali Nazeer Malik, Director Business Development & Investment Relations Ali Waqar Shah, Director Marketing Waseem Siddique, Director Management & Planning Asif Iqbal, and Director Land & Estate Mutahir Mahmood Awan ensured the smooth execution and remarkable success of the event.

Additionally, the auction committee comprised Sameera Abid, Ali Kamran, and Convener Riaz Hussain Executive Director Technical CBD Punjab, whose presence further reinforced the transparency and credibility of the proceedings.
