Balochistan schools reopening has gained momentum as Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti announced 3,200 non-functional schools are now operational. The CM emphasized that education is a top priority for the province. Classes have resumed in these schools within just one year, marking a major achievement in the education sector.
The chief minister also highlighted efforts to remove unnecessary posts in government departments to improve efficiency. He stated that no school in Balochistan will remain non-functional after December this year. This ensures that all children in the province have access to education without further delays.
To strengthen teaching quality, the provincial government completed merit-based recruitment of 16,000 teachers. CM Bugti stressed that skilled and dedicated teachers are critical to improving learning outcomes. The initiative also reflects a focus on accountability and transparency in the education system.
Bugti said the province’s youth are full of talent but have long been deprived of opportunities. To address this, a Youth Policy has been launched to provide better access to education, skills, and employment for young people. The policy aims to empower the next generation to contribute effectively to the province’s development.
Balochistan schools reopening also includes measures for women’s empowerment. The CM announced the creation of the province’s first Women Endowment Fund to support economic progress for women. This dual focus on education and empowerment highlights Balochistan’s commitment to inclusive growth and opportunities for all.
