US military planes carrying emergency supplies landed in Pakistan to support flood victims. The aid arrived at Noor Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, where Pakistani officials and US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker welcomed the shipment.
During the handover, Baker expressed sorrow over the destruction caused by recent floods. She offered condolences to affected families and assured that the United States stands with Pakistan during this humanitarian crisis.

Heavy monsoon rains and water released from Indian dams have devastated Punjab. Thousands of homes are under water, crops are ruined, and countless families have sought shelter in temporary camps after losing everything.
Pakistan’s government is working to provide maximum relief. However, officials stressed that international support is vital. The United Nations and the United Kingdom have already sent aid, and now the United States has joined these efforts.
Meanwhile, the Sindh government warned of worsening conditions as floodwaters move south. Officials estimate more than 1.6 million people may be affected. They cautioned that a major flood could worsen the humanitarian crisis and increase economic pressure on Pakistan.
