A Lahore court extended the physical custody of popular YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, for four more days on charges of promoting gambling and uploading explicit content.
The court granted the extension on August 19 after his initial two-day custody ended. Investigating officer Shoaib Riaz requested a total of 28 days to continue the probe against him.
Authorities allege that Ducky Bhai is connected to an international gambling group, prompting investigators to seek a longer custody period to collect evidence and question him thoroughly.
The court, after hearing arguments from both sides, approved his custody until August 23. He will be presented again in court once this extended period ends for further proceedings.
Ducky Bhai was arrested on August 17 at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), which accused him of promoting unregistered gambling apps on his YouTube channel.
Investigators revealed that his mobile phone contained WhatsApp chats and payment records linking him to gambling apps. They also claimed he worked as a “country manager” for an app without permissions from the State Bank of Pakistan or the Federal Board of Revenue.
