The senior PPP leader praised the resilience of Kashmiris, emphasizing that bans and censorship cannot silence their voices or erase their identity. She pointed out that history is full of examples where attempts to hide the truth have failed, and this situation will be no different. Sherry Rehman asserted that India’s efforts to suppress Kashmiri culture and history through censorship will ultimately fail.
She also called on the international community to recognize the injustice of these restrictions and stand with Kashmiris in defending their right to knowledge and cultural heritage.
