The 2nd International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO-2025) gathered participants from 19 countries, including major nations like China, Japan, and Türkiye. Despite tough competition, the Pakistani students impressed the judges with their deep knowledge and problem-solving skills in the field of nuclear science. Their achievements are being seen as a major step forward for science education in Pakistan.
Among the winners, Muhammad Tayyab Bukhari from Beaconhouse School Abbottabad earned the gold medal, showcasing excellent command over the subject. Meanwhile, Ammar Asad Warraich of Siddique Public School Islamabad proudly secured the silver medal, reflecting his strong dedication and preparation.
Additionally, two bronze medals were awarded to Rawah Javed from Siddique Public School and Tatheer Aima Naqvi from Chenab College Jhang. Their accomplishments further strengthened Pakistan’s position in global science competitions and served as inspiration for students nationwide.
Behind their success stood strong mentorship from Dr. Sajjad Tahir of PIEAS and Dr. Muhammad Maqsood from the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission.
