ISLAMABAD – PML-N leader and Chairman of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, has strongly criticised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent speech in the Lok Sabha, calling it a “pack of lies.”
While speaking to the media, Siddiqui said that Modi’s lengthy speech has been rejected by the Indian public, opposition parties, and even sections of the Indian media. He claimed that the speech lacked truth and substance.
According to Siddiqui, the Indian prime minister’s words failed to answer real concerns and only created more confusion. He added that instead of clarity, Modi’s two-hour speech raised new questions and doubts.
He further stated that India’s defeat in the “Marka-e-Haq” battle, as acknowledged by the world, has exposed the truth behind Modi’s leadership. Siddiqui believes the speech was, in fact, a silent confession of that defeat.
Moreover, the senator stressed that any narrative built on lies eventually collapses. He urged the international community to take notice of India’s misleading claims and the growing unrest within its own borders.
Siddiqui concluded that such speeches can no longer cover up ground realities and that the Indian government should stop misleading its people and the world with false stories.
