Pakistan has strongly rejected India’s claims about the so-called ‘Operation Sindoor’, calling them baseless and provocative. The Foreign Office said the Indian statements distort facts and promote a dangerous war narrative. It added that these remarks aim to justify aggression and mislead the public for political gain. Pakistan warned that such rhetoric threatens regional peace and stability. Officials emphasized that India must stop using conflict to score domestic political points.
According to Pakistan, India launched strikes on May 6–7 without credible evidence linking Pakistan to the Pulwama-style attack in Pahalgam. The Foreign Office stated that civilians, including women and children, were killed in the strikes. Pakistan claimed India failed to achieve its strategic goals and instead suffered military setbacks. It highlighted that Pakistan’s armed forces responded effectively by targeting Indian military positions. This response proved Pakistan’s ability to defend itself, officials said.
The Foreign Office also questioned the timing and accuracy of India’s recent statements in parliament. It said India ignored Pakistan’s offer for transparent and neutral investigations. Instead, India acted unilaterally and became the “judge, jury, and executioner.” Pakistan dismissed Indian Home Minister Amit Shah’s claims as lies meant to manipulate public perception. It also raised doubts about the sudden killing of alleged attackers right before India’s debate in parliament.
Pakistan also rejected India’s idea of creating a so-called ‘new normal’ in bilateral ties. It said any true normalization must begin with mutual respect for sovereignty and international law. Pakistan stated that it would always respond strongly to any future aggression. It stressed that real peace can only come through dialogue, especially on core issues like Kashmir. Without respect and diplomacy, peace will remain impossible, officials warned.
Lastly, Pakistan condemned India’s statements on nuclear threats and the Indus Waters Treaty. It called the “nuclear blackmail” narrative misleading and irresponsible. Officials said Pakistan’s military restraint shows its commitment to peace. However, they also made clear that Pakistan’s defense is strong and ready. Pakistan urged India to respect the Indus Waters Treaty and regional agreements. It concluded by calling for meaningful dialogue and regional stability over propaganda and escalation.
