Police have arrested two madrassa teachers after three students were allegedly raped at Madrassa Tajul Uloom in Alipur tehsil of Muzaffargarh district. According to the FIR, a man named Ghulam Qadir told police that he had admitted three children to the madrassa for religious education. He said that two teachers, Mufti Muhammad Farhan and Abdul Rahman, repeatedly raped the children over a period of two and a half months. The abuse came to light when the children finally told their families, who then approached the police. A case has been registered at Sadar Alipur police station. Muzaffargarh District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Muhammad Rizwan said he took notice of the incident and ordered immediate action. He confirmed that both accused teachers had been arrested, and medical tests of both the students and the suspects were underway.
