Saudi Arabian airline Flyadeal is set to expand its operations in Pakistan by launching four new direct routes. Starting from the end of August 2025, the airline will connect Riyadh to Islamabad, Peshawar, and Sialkot, as well as Dammam to Karachi. These new services will be operational between August 24 and 26 and will run two to three times per week using Airbus A320 aircraft.
This expansion is part of Flyadeal’s growing presence in the region, with Pakistan emerging as a key market for Saudi carriers. The Riyadh-Sialkot route, in particular, is significant, as it reinstates direct flights that were discontinued last year by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). Flyadeal will now be the sole carrier serving this route, adding a convenient option for travelers between the two countries.
The new routes will also include direct flights from Riyadh to Islamabad and Peshawar, further strengthening the airline’s footprint in Pakistan. With this move, Flyadeal aims to double its service offerings in the country, ensuring increased connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
In 2024, approximately 5.9 million passengers traveled between the two nations, with air traffic continuing to grow year by year. This surge in demand has prompted Saudi carriers to increase their capacity, and Flyadeal’s new routes reflect this trend. The airline’s entry into the Pakistani market in early 2025 with flights from Jeddah and Riyadh to Karachi was a successful start, and these new services are expected to further boost its operations.
The expansion of Flyadeal comes as Pakistan’s aviation market continues to grow rapidly. With more flights being added and competition increasing, passengers can look forward to more options and better services in the near future.
