Pakistan says Indian proxies are involved in recent terror attacks in Balochistan. The Foreign Office spokesman, Shafqat Ali Khan, confirmed this in a weekly briefing. He added that India interferes actively in Balochistan to create unrest and instability. Pakistan raises this issue at international forums to expose India’s role clearly to the world.
He also highlighted ongoing human rights violations in Indian-held Kashmir. These abuses have continued for decades, affecting many innocent people. Shafqat Ali Khan stressed Pakistan’s firm and clear stance against terrorism. He confirmed that no Pakistani leader, including Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has made any conflicting statements on this matter.
The spokesman spoke about Pakistan’s foreign relations as well. He said China remains a close and trusted friend of Pakistan. He also clarified that Pakistan’s policy on Taiwan remains unchanged. Furthermore, Pakistan wants to join the BRICS group but will not comment on recent developments or speculations about BRICS membership.
