Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will represent Pakistan at the 32nd Ministerial Meeting of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) in Kuala Lumpur this Friday. The high-level event will bring together foreign ministers and officials from 27 member countries, along with the ASEAN Secretary-General.
The ARF meeting will focus on key political and security challenges in the Asia-Pacific region. Ishaq Dar is expected to highlight Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, mutual cooperation, and stability through meaningful dialogue and partnerships.
During his stay in Kuala Lumpur, the Deputy Prime Minister will also meet with his Malaysian counterpart and other visiting foreign ministers. These sideline meetings aim to strengthen bilateral ties and promote regional collaboration on shared concerns.
In addition to official meetings, Ishaq Dar will engage with the Pakistani community in Kuala Lumpur. His visit reflects Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to maintain strong diplomatic ties and support its citizens abroad.
Since joining the ASEAN Regional Forum in 2004, Pakistan has remained an active and constructive member. The ARF, established in 1994, serves as a vital platform for multilateral dialogue on peace and security across the Asia-Pacific region.
