Pakistan’s Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has warned that any attack on the country will face an extremely harsh response. He said that any attempt to hit Pakistan’s cities, military bases, ports, or economic centers would be answered with a reaction much stronger than expected. He issued this strong statement during his address at the National Defence University in Islamabad. The army chief stressed that Pakistan would never tolerate any threat to its sovereignty or peace.
Field Marshal Munir rejected India’s recent claims that Pakistan had foreign help during Operation Bunyān Marsūs. He said these claims are false and only show India’s refusal to accept Pakistan’s success. He also criticized India for failing to meet its military goals during Operation Sindoor. According to him, blaming others is just India’s way to hide its weaknesses. He called such actions signs of poor planning and leadership.

The army chief also said that India is trying to bring other countries into a direct conflict with Pakistan. He said this is part of India’s failed effort to act like a security leader in the region. In contrast, Pakistan believes in peaceful relations and mutual respect. He reminded the audience that Pakistan has always followed principled diplomacy. This, he said, is what sets Pakistan apart from aggressive nations.
Moreover, the army chief praised institutions like the National Defence University for training future leaders. He stressed that military officers must be ready for modern challenges. These include hybrid threats, cyber warfare, and political propaganda. He said that wars are not won by loud slogans or expensive equipment. Instead, they are won by faith, professionalism, and unity.
Field Marshal Munir ended his speech by warning India once again. He said that any aggression against Pakistan will lead to serious consequences. If tensions rise, the blame will lie on the one who starts the conflict. He expressed full confidence in the strength and preparation of Pakistan’s armed forces. Finally, he urged young officers to serve the nation with honesty, courage, and dedication.
