Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that no one in Iran is safe anymore, not even Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He made this statement during a visit to Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva, following Iran’s recent missile strikes on Israel. Netanyahu refused to rule out a possible strike on Khamenei but added that it’s not something he wishes to discuss in the media.
While Netanyahu remained vague, Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gallant has issued open threats to Khamenei. Netanyahu emphasized that all options are on the table and that Israel will do whatever it must for its own protection. He added, “The U.S. will do what’s best for them. I will do what’s best for Israel.”
The Israeli leader also said that Israel can act alone if necessary. He assured the public that once the operation ends, Israel will no longer face threats from nuclear weapons or ballistic missiles. He stated that the country is prepared to neutralize those risks.
Speaking about the personal cost of war, Netanyahu shared that the conflict has affected his own family. His son had to cancel his wedding, which drew sympathy from some but also criticism from political opponents. He noted that everyone is paying a price during this war.
This latest statement further increases tensions in the Middle East, where conflict between Iran and Israel continues to grow. With both sides exchanging harsh words and threats, fears of further escalation remain high.
