Pakistani baseball player Lance Khan dies in Houston car crash

HOUSTON – Pakistani baseball player Lance Khan has tragically passed away in a traffic accident in Houston, according to an official statement from the Pakistan Baseball Federation.

Federation President Fakhar Shah confirmed that the fatal accident occurred on Sunday morning in Houston. Despite immediate efforts, Lance Khan could not survive the injuries and was later declared dead.

Lance Khan had represented Pakistan in the 2023 Lincoln Cup, where he played one official match for the national team. His performance and dedication had earned him recognition among his teammates and coaches.

According to President Shah, Lance Khan played in the outfield position and was considered a promising talent in Pakistan’s growing baseball scene. His death has come as a great shock to the sports community.

The Pakistan Baseball Federation expressed deep sorrow over the loss and extended condolences to his family. Tributes have started pouring in on social media, where fans and fellow athletes are remembering him for his skill, spirit, and sportsmanship.

As Pakistan continues to develop its presence in international baseball, the loss of Lance Khan marks a heartbreaking moment for the country’s sporting future.
