David Beckham is a proud father to all his kids. Amid the ongoing rift between Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, 26, his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, 30, and the rest of the Beckham family, the soccer star celebrated Father’s Day with a heartfelt tribute to all four of his and Victoria Beckham’s kids.
“My most important & favourite job in life is being a dad,” David-who also shares Romeo Beckham, 22, Cruz Beckham, 20, and Harper Beckham, 13, with his wife of 25 years-wrote on Instagram June 15 alongside a series of throwback photos. “I’m so proud of all of you and like daddy tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what.”
Along with expressing his unconditional love for his kids, the 50-year-old made sure to give Victoria her flowers for ushering him into fatherhood in the first place.
“Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father,” he continued. “There is no greater gift in life than making me a dad. Happy Father’s Day. I love you kiddies more than you could imagine.”
For her part, the fashion designer gushed about her husband in her own social media tribute just hours before.
“Happy Father’s Day to the best daddy there is,” Victoria wrote alongside several pics of him and their kids. “You always lead with love and our four beautiful children are a reflection of that. We all love you so much!”
And while David and Victoria made sure to include all their children in their messages, these posts come just weeks after a source with knowledge shed light on where the apparent feud between Brooklyn and the rest of his family may have started.
At their April 2022 wedding, “Brooklyn and Nicola were under the impression they were being gifted their first dance by Marc Anthony,” the source recently told E! News.
However, when it came time to step out on the dance floor, Victoria was allegedly put in the spotlight instead.
“Marc Anthony announced, ‘Please welcome to the stage the most beautiful woman in the room…Victoria Beckham,'” the source continued. “Brooklyn wasn’t quite sure what to do and was put in an awkward situation. Nicola left the room crying.”
And despite Brooklyn and Nicola’s decision to skip David’s 50th birthday celebrations last month, an insider has since denied rumors that the eldest has cut off his family completely.
“This seems to be another deliberate attempt to misrepresent the truth,” the insider told E! News, days before David was presented with a knighthood by King Charles III during the monarch’s birthday celebration June 14. “It only serves to distract from this honor being bestowed on Brooklyn’s father.
