Inter-Services Public Relations Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held an interactive session with participants of Summer Camp 2026, highlighting Pakistan’s national security environment, the threat of terrorism and the country’s internal and external security challenges. The discussion aimed to increase awareness among young students while encouraging informed understanding of issues affecting national stability.

Moreover, according to ISPR, more than 4,000 students from grades 9 to 12, representing over 18 cities across Pakistan, are participating in Summer Camp 2026. The programme brings together students from different regions to enhance their knowledge, develop leadership qualities and promote greater awareness of national affairs.
Meanwhile, participants said the session helped them better understand Pakistan’s internal and external security challenges. They were also briefed on what ISPR described as the role of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij in terrorist activities linked to Balochistan, alongside discussions on the country’s broader security situation.

Furthermore, students highlighted the growing impact of misinformation and propaganda in the digital age, stressing the need to promote accurate information and public awareness. They also expressed their commitment to supporting Pakistan’s armed forces in efforts aimed at combating terrorism and safeguarding national security.
ISPR said Summer Camp 2026 is an important initiative designed to strengthen national awareness among young people while helping them develop essential skills and leadership abilities. The organisation added that such programmes encourage constructive engagement, responsible citizenship and a deeper understanding of the challenges facing the country.
