In Gaza, Israeli attacks have killed 59 Palestinians in the last 24 hours. Many were simply searching for food. Among them, 17 people were standing near aid centers, hoping to receive basic meals. These centers are operated under US and Israeli monitoring, yet people waiting outside were shot without warning.
Eyewitnesses say Israeli soldiers opened fire suddenly. They did not give any verbal warning or fire into the air. People were standing peacefully, some with empty pots and bags. Within moments, the ground was covered in bodies and blood. Many children were also among the wounded.
Food is extremely scarce in Gaza. Long lines form daily outside the few aid centers still working. People often wait for hours in heat or under fire, just to get a single meal. However, these lines are now turning into death traps, as Israeli forces continue to target them.
Local health officials say hospitals are overwhelmed. Many injured were brought in with gunshot wounds. Several did not survive due to a shortage of medical supplies and staff. Ambulances are delayed or blocked in some areas, making emergency response harder.
Despite global appeals for a ceasefire, Israeli forces show no sign of stopping. Gaza’s civilians now face two battles—one against hunger, and one against deadly violence. Aid groups are calling the situation “a humanitarian catastrophe in real time.”
