Prime minister Shehbaz travels to UAE to boost bilateral ties

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left for the United Arab Emirates on a one-day official visit on Thursday. He is traveling with a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, several federal ministers, and senior government officials. This visit highlights the deep friendship between Pakistan and the UAE, built on trust, shared values, and strong cooperation across many sectors like trade, investment, and security.

During his visit, PM Shehbaz will hold important talks with UAE leaders. A key meeting is planned with the UAE President and Abu Dhabi Ruler, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The leaders will discuss many key issues including strengthening trade ties, regional stability, and global cooperation. These talks aim to open new doors for partnership and enhance mutual support between the two countries.

The Foreign Office said the visit will help deepen economic links and encourage multifaceted cooperation. Pakistan and the UAE want to expand their collaboration in areas such as energy, technology, and infrastructure. The visit will also review ongoing projects and explore fresh opportunities for joint investments and trade development.

Furthermore, this visit shows Pakistan and the UAE’s strong commitment to their strategic partnership. Both countries want to build on their past success by improving existing agreements and exploring new avenues for cooperation. This effort will help maintain and strengthen the friendly relations between the two nations for years to come.
