Renowned Pakistani actor and producer Humayun Saeed has revealed that his upcoming film Love Guru is the most expensive project of his career so far, with a massive budget of PKR 250 million.
While speaking in an interview with Something Haute alongside Mahira Khan, Saeed shared that despite the film’s high cost, he remains confident it will perform well at the box office and exceed expectations.
He also discussed Pakistan’s film industry, mentioning that the government has launched a support plan for local filmmakers. The plan includes financial and logistical aid, especially for small-scale producers aiming to enter the film scene.
Although Saeed clarified that he has not yet received any government funding for Love Guru, he expressed hope of securing assistance for future projects. He added that after a two-year break, he plans to release at least one film every year moving forward.
Saeed shared that if he produces two films annually, he will act in one and cast another actor in the second. However, if there’s only one film in a year, he will play the lead role himself.
With Love Guru on the horizon, fans eagerly await what promises to be a high-budget, star-studded addition to Pakistani cinema, backed by Saeed’s trademark passion and experience.
