Islamabad — Pakistan has strongly denied India’s recent accusations of missile and drone attacks on cities like Pathankot, Jaisalmer, and Srinagar, calling them false and dangerous. In a firm statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said India’s claims are part of a “reckless propaganda campaign” meant to damage Pakistan’s image and stir up regional conflict. According to the Foreign Office, this pattern of blaming Pakistan without solid evidence shows that India is trying to create an excuse for aggressive actions. Pakistan reminded the world that it stands for peace but warned that it would respond firmly to any move that threatens its sovereignty. Earlier this week, Indian officials, including the defence minister and military leaders, accused Pakistan of launching coordinated attacks. In response, Pakistan completely rejected the claims, pointing out the lack of proof and calling the allegations irresponsible. Islamabad urged global powers to step in and advise India to act with restraint. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s military reported shooting down multiple Indian drones that crossed into its airspace. It also claimed the Pakistan Air Force downed five Indian fighter jets, including three Rafales, during a tense exchange near the Line of Control. India denied these reports, stating its defences had blocked all threats. Tensions continue to rise, with both sides on high alert. Pakistan has called for a neutral investigation and challenged India to present real evidence for its accusations. Global observers have expressed concern over the worsening situation and urged both nations to avoid further conflict. Pakistan reaffirmed its desire for peaceful relations and regional stability. It stressed that real peace can only come through open talks and mutual respect—not through baseless claims or military actions. The country called on India to move toward dialogue instead of deepening the divide.
