Addressing a seminar on Iqbal Day, Former Minister and President of the University of Management and Technology (UMT) Ibrahim Hasan Murad paid tribute to Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the renowned poet and philosopher whose visionary ideas continue to inspire and guide generations. Former Minister Ibrahim Murad shared that Iqbal’s philosophy of Khudi (selfhood) and self-reliance are essential for the nation to embrace in overcoming contemporary challenges. He underscored the importance of Iqbal’s message of unity and solidarity, especially amid today’s political and social divisions. Iqbal’s call for self-awareness and empowerment was a call not only to individuals but to entire nation, he stated.
