Taylor Swift’s dad thinks Travis Kelce is fly like a jet stream. On a recent flight following his daughter’s Eras Tour shows in New Orleans, Scott Swift-who shares Taylor, 34, and Austin, 32, with ex-wife Andrea Swift-didn’t hold back when it came to sharing how much he loves Taylor’s boyfriend of over a year, according to his seatmate. “He did talk about how much he loves Travis for her, which was super cute,” his seatmate said an Oct. 29 TikTok about her experience sitting next to Scott, 72. “I did not ask anything about Travis. He was just raving about his daughter and raving about her success and how proud he was of every aspect of her life.” The woman, who didn’t attend the Eras Tour and doesn’t consider herself to be a Swiftie, added that Travis stands out to Taylor’s father in comparison to her past romantic interests. As the poster, also named Taylor, recalled, “He did say that out of all of her boyfriends over the past 12 years, Travis has made the biggest impact and that Travis has a phenomenal family.” In fact, he apparently also revealed his previous connections the Kansas City Chiefs player’s family. “And he actually said that he knew Jason Kelce’s wife’s dad before they started dating,” she noted, referring to Ed McDevitt, the father of Kylie Kelce, who is married to Travis’ brother Jason. “So he said, ‘I already knew the family. I knew they were amazing.’ He loves them together.” When the seatmates first struck up conversation with one another, his identity as the “Blank Space” singer’s dad felt like “an elephant in the room,” so she says they quickly broke the ice by acknowledging who he was. “He knew I knew and so, yes, I did say, ‘Are you Taylor’s dad?'” she admitted, “and he reached in his pocket and handed me guitar picks and he was like, ‘Yes, I am.'” Scott spent the rest of their chat talking about his busy schedule that has him flying between work conferences, his daughter’s shows and Travis’ games. And he emphasised how proud he is of Taylor’s monumental success. “He’s a talker and the sweetest man on planet earth,” the TikToker said. “I did not have to even ask him questions and he was spilling every bit of how proud he was of Taylor.” In addition to gushing over the Grammy winner, Scott was also “showing videos from her New Orleans shows” and “pointing out his favorite moments” to the young lady seated next to him. By the end of the flight, their flight attendants also worked up the courage to share with Scott how much they love his daughter. “Flight attendants were fangirling,” she explained. “They wrote him a note, they gave him some bracelets and they were like fangirling and he was showing them videos, too.”
