GUJRANWALA: CIA police claimed to have arrested two members of a dacoit gang involved in bank robberies on Wednesday. City police officer Ashfaq Khan while talking to the media told that accused Shahzaib and Saif Ullah were required to police in various dacoity cases while they also killed a bank security guard for showing resistance during robbery. He told that DSP CIA Imran Abbas Chadhar was given the task of arrest of said accused and after scientific investigation CIA police have succeeded to trace out the accused and arrest them from different places. CPO also told that in preliminary investigations accused confessed that they looted cash from MCB Sialkot Road, ABL Hafizabad Road, UBL Shalimar town, MCB Qilla Didar Singh and other places. While police have recovered million of rupee and illegal arms from the accused also. He announced the appreciation certificates and cash prizes for CIA team. Separately, Chairman Chamber of Education Schools Chaudhry Jamil said that efforts being made by the Punjab government for the promotion of education sector are proving fruitful, distribution of lap tops amongst the brilliant students, education endowment fund and visits of position holder students to other countries are remarkable steps of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Nawaz Sharif. He told this while addressing the prize distribution ceremony held for matric positon-holder students of Jadid Dastgir Ideal High School. Vice chairman Alla ud Din Jamil, teachers and students in large numberwere participated in the ceremony. Chaudhary Jamil said that private sector is paying a great role to increase the literacy rate in the country, he said the government should announce a special package for private educational institutions so that they could be able to educate the new generation in a better way. Separately, arrangements are being finalised in respect of CM’s expected visit to DHQ hospital and other places. It was told that a special team from Lahore paid a detailed visit to DHQ hospital to check the security and other arrangements.
