KARACHI: Mutahida Qaumi Movement’s Pakistan chief, Farooq Sattar has turned down all the allegations leveled by the Paksar Zameen party leader Mustafa Kamal on Thursday that MQM workers celebrated 70th birthday of Pakistan as ‘Black Day’ setting the nation flag on fire.
Earlier, on the same day PSP leader had alleged MQM founder for inciting anti-national feeling among his followers by burning the national flag recording it and selling it to the famous Indian intelligence agency RAW. “The MQM founder has being doing all of this using the name of Muhajirs”, he clarified that MQM founder and Muhajirs are not one but are two different things”.
Mustafa also alleged that the people in the video, who set the national flags on fire includesome of the workers of MQM-P.
Farooq Sattar while turning down all the allegations against his party workers leveled by Mustafa Kamal said, “we have clarified that we have parted our ways from MQM-London after the diatribe used by Altaf Hussain on August 22nd”.
He also dismissed the assumption that the men involved in the burning of the national flag belong to the Muhajir community, which claim to represent the MQM. “People who have burnt the flags were acting on the orders of MQM-London”, he admitted and called it an anti-state act.
“Such huge celebration of the 70th anniversary of Pakistan by our party shows the hearts of our people filled with loyalty and patriotism”.
We own all the people of Pakistan irrespective of their culture and ethnicity; whether one is Punjabi Pashto, Gilgitis, Sindh,Hazara, or Balochi, we stand with all and we believe that they are also stand side by side.
Recalling the memories of celebration day, he said that their party workers had hoisted the national flags of Pakistan at their all units not only in Karachi but all over the country.
“Those involved in the anti-state activities must reveal their identity rather than hiding behind the mask”.
