LARKANA: Larkana’s Sachal Police Station team headed by the SHO allegedly beat up two young brothers for their alleged refusal to pay illegal gratification. Reportedly, the police also registered an FIR against them to hide their worst attitude. The two brothers, Muhammad Bux Bhutto and Abdullah Bhutto, sons of Shadan Bhutto were returning to home in Sachal Colony after performing their government duties, when they reached near City Hospital, the police party stopped them for checking bike documents. One of the brother told the cops that they don’t have papers at the moment for which they were asked to bring the same or their bike will be taken to police station. They replied that they are living nearby and one of them went to bring the papers. When he returned, he found his brother was being beaten by the cops with slaps. He asked them why his brother was being tortured on this, they did not reply. His brother replied that they asked for Rs 500 bribe, but he refused because they have proper documents. The cops also started slapping elder brother in his face despite the fact that he produced bike documents. According to a report, they were later taken to police station where both were again mercilessly beaten along with SHO Hassan Soomro, WHC Nisar Siyal and other cops. Some notables also reached the station when they came to know about the ‘Police Gardi’ but SHO refused to set them free saying FIR No: 56/2017 had been registered against them at Waleed police station under section 353, 506/2 and 188. However, SHO released them on personal surety and they obtained interim pre-arrest bail from the court of sessions Judge, Larkana, in the sum of Rs 50,000 each.
