LAYYAH: District Nazim Malik Ghulam Haider Thind on Sunday praised outgoing Executive District Officer for Health Dr Aashiq Cheema for his services in the district. Addressing a farewell party, which was arranged by the health department staff on the transfer of Dr Cheema, he said the people of Layyah would always remember Dr Cheema for keeping Layyah free from polio. District Coordination Officer Nazeer Ahmed also paid rich tribute to the outgoing EDO. Later, Shahabuddin Khan Sehar, former district nazim gave a memorial shield to Dr Cheema on behalf of the staff.
