Sir: At first the Taliban accepted responsibility for the attack they carried out in the middle of the Muharram procession in Karachi and a day later they tried to deny it. It seems as if the Taliban have come to realise that what little public support they had left after their atrocious attack on a mosque in Rawalpindi has surely died out now. It is a case of us against the Taliban now; a Muslim keeps his word and the Taliban cannot even manage that. Actions speak louder than words and the Taliban are nothing short of war criminals. We as Pakistanis should denounce them at every opportunity and tell the world that we are a peace-loving nation and these people are not from amongst us.AHSAN AHMAD KHANLahore
