Sir: Once again, the summer is here and we can already experience scorching heat in March. God knows what will happen in June. In addition to this, load shedding seems to have multiplied over the years. Every year many people die in the summer due to heat and dehydration. What is the government here for? Why is there no end to this menace? We are sick of hearing false promises every year. As if the heat and electricity problem was not bad enough, now the prices of petroleum are so high that not even wealthy people can afford to turn on their generators for hours every day. The government must take steps to get rid of this problem. AZFAR IQBAL Rawalpindi
