Sir: No doubt, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is a major political party but some of its leaders are giving the impression that it is a regional party rather than a national party. During the last general elections, it only won seats in one province, i.e. Punjab. In Sindh, the bad governance of the PPP government, the overall law and order situation and its disregard of the betterment of the people has created space for PML-N to win a good number of seats in the next general elections but Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s recent statement demanding Karachi as a separate province decreased the popularity of PML-N. The people of Sindh have still not forgotten that the PML-N, throughout its tenure, did not launch/complete any mega development project in Sindh. I suggest the PML-N chief, Mian Nawaz Sharif, to bring drastic changes in his party’s policies and truly think like a nationalist for all of Pakistan and not just Punjab. MOHAMMAD KHAN SIAL Karachi
