Sir: Hosting Afghan refugees is not only a burden on our poor economy; it also provides insurgents a safe haven. The history of Afghan refugees is so old that they are now raising their third generation in this country and now they do not want to return to war-stricken Afghanistan. Insurgents have a history of using refugees as a cover. To eliminate such black sheep, the government should apply strict policies on the identification of these people so that it is aware of who is entering and leaving the country. Qasim Mahmood Lahore
