Sir: Reportedly, six to seven militants hurled a hand grenade into an empty school in response to the execution of two Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) militants, who were involved in the killing of a doctor. Luckily, there was no loss of life but it is enough to alarm the provincial government and concerned authorities responsible for maintaining law and order in the city. So we should be ready to save our future. On the other hand, security has been enhanced around the Chief Minister’s House. We are the citizens of this country and entitled to the same level of security as the VIPs. I think it is high time we should take action and compel the authorities to make necessary security arrangements for the schools. We should not take security for granted. We have suffered much loss and we cannot bear any further losses. If we fail in providing security to our children, the sacrifice of 150 students of Peshawar will go in vain.
