Sir: It seems Pakistan is cursed. Not even a month has gone by since the heartbreaking attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar that now we witness a bomb attack near an imambargah in Rawalpindi, killing as many as five people. What will become of this country where there is no value for human life, no remorse for dastardly deeds and no salvation for those who remain alive? The government is sleeping and has allowed us civilians to die slow, agonising deaths. We might as well arm ourselves and die with some dignity and respect instead of waiting for them to do anything for us. DANYAL UMER Lahore
