Sir: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik took a solid step to stop the cheating culture at educational institutions in Balochistan. Although his efforts are praiseworthy, yet there is no end to this problem. Recently, during the examinations of 9th and 10th classes, students were seen busy committing the unethical practice of cheating. The problem cannot be solved by banning cheating. There are some places in Balochistan where schools do not exist. I would like to suggest to the Chief Minister that if he is serious in bringing reforms in the educational system, he should take the initiative of changing the examination system. It should be semester-wise instead of annual. The government should also arrange qualified and trained teachers in schools. Without implementing these changes, it is impossible to prevent cheating.
