Sir: In response to a letter on cheating in examinations (Daily Times, April 16, 2015), I would like to elaborate that the Pakistani educational system is not bad but school managements render it terrible due to which people suffer. The faculty of government and some private schools always try to avoid many important topics to be taught in the syllabus, which directly affects students’ capability to answer odd questions and they resort to cheating. The government should educate the teaching faculty, especially in the rural areas. It should try to eliminate the culture of cheating from schools so that we can see a qualified and competent nation.MADAD ALI CHANNAKarachi
