LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira Wednesday said that government had lost ground to stay in power after Panama leaks, Dawn leaks and load shedding. He was talking to the media during his visit to Nasir Bagh to monitor the preparations for a PPP gathering to be held today (Thursday) to lodge a protest against load shedding. The PPP leader bashed the ruling party, saying that PPP would show the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) the difference between a “patwari” meeting and a political gathering. Kaira also responded to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s statement in which he called himself a lion and his political opponents’ jackals. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his aides were “fake lions” He said that Panama leaks and Dawn leaks had devastated the premier. He warned Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif of agitation if the Punjab government tries to stop PPP convoys from coming to Nasir Bagh. PPP’s spokesperson Chaudhry Manzoor said in the press conference that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto would announce party’s next phase of anti-government protests after Nasir Bagh procession.
