ISLAMABAD: The Foreign office (FO) of Pakistan on Tuesday dismissed the reports claiming that Pakistani Ambassador Jalil Abbas Jilani was reprimanded by the White House, and said that no such letter was received by the Pakistani Mission in the United States. Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakariya categorically denied the development, terming it incorrect in a brief statement issued. Such irresponsible and false reporting must be condemned, he said. Earlier, media reports alleged that Ambassador Jilani was criticised by the White House for tweeting a picture of himself with US First Lady Michelle Obama during the last week of May.
