MULTAN: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Yousaf Raza Gilani on Wednesday said his party always wanted the government and PTI to agree on terms of reference (ToRs). Talking to reporters, he said all political parties were included in making these ToRs, adding, “Today we have given it to other hands.” The former prime minister said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had demanded adoption of the TOR bill from parliament. “Would that all political parties had agreed upon these ToRs,” Gilani said. He said the PPP did not want to see clash between institutions. The PPP chairman had demanded the resignation of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for his failure to implement the National Action Plan, he said. He said his party was focusing on progress and prosperity of the country besides strengthening parliament. He also condemned Indian violations on the LoC and said why human rights organisations were silent on Indian atrocities in the Indian-held Kashmir.
