UPPER DIR: Panakot Army Brigade organised on Friday a free medical camp in the remote Qualndi area in which more than four hundred patients were examined. People from various villages of the Qulandi union council came to the medical camp and got free treatment at the camp. Women, children and male patients were examined at the free medical camp. Not only the area people even Chitrali passengers who were waiting for going to Chitral via Lowari Tunnel also got advantage and came into the camp for treatment. The In Charge of the medical camp Captain Dr Syed Nishtar said that more than four hundred patients had been examined at the free medical camp. He said that children, women and men were included in the examined patients. “Most of the patients have a problem of chest infection, cough, fever, kidney pain and other problems,” Dr Nishtar mentioned. He said that due to not taking proper quantity of water the area people were getting kidney problems in high numbers. He advised that the people of the area should use proper amount of water to avoid the kidney disease because there was the possibility of failure of kidneys if proper amount of water was not taken. Khyber Agency: The health department of Khyber Agency in collaboration with the Pak Army, Frontier Corp (FC) initiated a day long medical camp for the tribesmen here in Kalanga, Aka Khel area of tehsil Bara, Khyber Agency the previous day. During the camp, the doctors of the Army Medical Corp and the health department conducted the check-up of hundreds of local tribals, diagnosed their diseases and provide them free medicines. According to the forces, 363 children, 381 women and 271 men were examined and were felicitated with needed treatment. In addition Hepatitis and Malaria tests of 190 and 31 tribesmen respectively were also carried out.
