Online fashion and accessories store holds one-day exhibition in capital

Published on: May 22, 2016 11:04 PM

ISLAMABAD: The Exhibitt that took place in the capital on Friday was an impeccable idea for bringing forth new and eminent designers in the limelight.

It was indeed a platform for these brands to foster their handiwork. After a great success in Lahore and Karachi, Cinnamon Restaurant at Beverly Centre housed the much-talked about exhibition at its premises.

The Exhibitt is the brainchild of Alyzeh Rahim Shirazi and Sania Hasnain Ali. It is a multi-label trunk show that has garnered some top-house designers under one ceiling to encase their masterpieces.

The designers of this successful and trendy new idea included HighStreet, Rizwan Beyg, Amrapali Jaipur, Prerto, Boho, Magicosmetix, Pastels, Faiza Ahmed, Blood Orange by R, Maheen Karim, Allure by MHT, Ansab Jehangir, Allechant, Enchantress Couture, Nasreen & Sadia, Farah Talib Aziz, Henna Mehndi Couture, Koi Homes, Mohtarram, Amene and Chained Jewels.

All these versatile designers had a diversity of artefacts encompassing aureate jewellery, resplendent array of attires, fashionable ready-to-wear options and exquisite formals, trousseaus as well as accessories and an all exotic mixed variety of maquillage, as well as home decor items.

“Pakistan is now taking a lead role in fashion and I believe we are now becoming recognised by the international community as a force to be reckoned with. We are also re-launching soon and we have some interesting aces up our sleeves,” Cinnamon Restaurant Operations & Marketing Director Marium Moin Siddiqui said, while talking exclusively to Daily Times.

Amid all these glorious brands, HighStreet Islamabad is one of the competent ones. It is an online store established in 2012 that prides itself on providing quality for price and exceptional customer services. HighStreet offers casual and formal western wear clothing line, shoes and accessories for women. Their prices are purse friendly and designs are fresh off the runway.

“Being a fashion publicist, I get to know the latest trends, and hence we serve to fashion-savvy customers who won’t find the latest trendy pieces anywhere in Pakistan other than HighStreet,” HighStreet owner Aminah Sameer said, also while talking exclusively to Daily Times.

The colour palette used for clothes it displayed was very vibrant and according to the latest trends. The prices were quite reasonable ranging from Rs 100 onwards. HighStreet also offers cosmetics, jewellery, shoes and groovy bags all imported from abroad. A door to the international market, HighStreet has made it quite easier especially for its clientele to reach out to their favourite brands which are not available in the country.

The steady stream of customers made all the designers plan the next instalment of The Exhbitt very soon.

Will the next one be a success too? Time will tell.
