JUI-F stages protest against Indian atrocities in Kashmir

Published on: July 17, 2016 10:40 PM

KHYBER AGENCY: A protest rally was recently staged in Landikotal bazaar by the FATA chapter of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F), urging the Muslim Ummah to unite in the protection of the Haramain Sharifain in Saudi Arabia. The demonstrators also warned India to stop the ongoing atrocities against the innocent Kashmiri people.

Hundreds of party workers marched in Landikotal bazaar and gathered at Bacha Khan Chowk, under the banner of led Mufti Muhammad Ijaz Shinwari, JUI-F Secretary-General, FATA. The protestors carried several banners and placards, inscribed with anti-India slogans and messages in favour of the protection of Haramain Sharifain in Saudi Arabia, and also shouted slogans against the Indian forces active in the occupied Kashmir as well as pledges to guard the Holy Muslim sites in Saudi Arabia.

In his address to the rally,Shinwari said that the Indian troops have expedited their atrocities in Kashmir, further adding that hundreds of innocent Kashmiri Muslims have already been killed in the occupied Kashmir during the recent spate of violence.

He also said that as many as 10 million Muslims in FATA as well as other Pakistani citizens were ready to protect the Haramain Sharifain in Saudi Arabia. A call for unity was also given all the Muslims across the world. He also lashed out against the US, Israel and India for hatching conspiracies against the Muslims around the world. It was the prime religious obligation of every Muslim to come forward and protect the holy places of Muslims in Saudi Arabia, he noted.

He also added that his party workers and Fata people were ready to sacrifice their lives for the freedom of Kashmir. The leader also denounced the former president, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf for his faulty and weak foreign policies for weakening the Kashmir freedom cause. He also came down hard on the United Nations and all international human rights organizations for observing silence over Indian brutalities being committed against the Kashmiri people. Qari Jehad Shah Afridi, Secretary Information, JUI-F Khyber agency, Maulana Mujahid, Ameer, Landikotal , Maulana Tehseenullah and Haji Hukam Khan Shinwari also spoke on the occasion.
