KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (Shaheed Bhutto) and the ruling PPP observed 31st death anniversary of Shahnawaz Bhutto at Al-Murtaza Larkana and Naudero House on Monday.

Pakistan People’s Party (Shaheed Bhutto) organised a simple event and paid tributes to Shahnawaz Bhutto on his 31st death anniversary, but there were no reports of attendance of workers at the graves of Bhutto on the occasion.

The local leaders and workers of both the parties separately arranged gatherings to pay tributes to Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto for carrying forward the mission of his father Zulfikar
Ali Bhutto.

The PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) arranged a Quran khuwani at Al-Murtaza House in Larkana and distributed free food among the poor and needy people on the eve of his 31 death anniversary.

Both the fractions of PPP and PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) issued the press statement and paid tributes to the services of Shahnawaz Bhutto and some workers visited Bhutto mausoleum and offered Fateha at the graves of Bhutto family.

According to the statements, the local leaders spoke about Shahnawaz Bhutto’s worldwide campaign that could not save the life of his father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and he was sentenced to death by Lahore High Court at the behest of military dictator General Ziaul Haq.

The local leaders said that Shahnawaz Bhutto travelled worldwide along with his elder brother Mir Murtaza Bhutto and met many international leaders to save life of his father Z A Bhutto. The people of Pakistan and workers of PPP would always remember the struggle of Shahnawaz Bhutto and Mir
Murtaza Bhutto.
