Rally in Kashmir in remembrance of 1947 martyrs

Published on: November 6, 2020 7:38 PM

Muzaffarabad: A rally was staged under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir here on Friday to pay tribute to the martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir.

People in the rally chanted Anti-India and Pro-freedom slogans while holding banners and placards.

Terming the atrocities of Hindu racists organizations as brutal human rights violations, speakers said that Hindu extremists including Rashtriya Sewam Singh (RSS), Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and BJP are the enemies of Muslims and other minorities in Indian and Occupied Kashmir.

They lamented that after the independence of a separate state for Muslims, many Muslims were brutally killed by Hindu racist organizations on 5,6 and 7th November 1947.

Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that the killing of Muslims in November 1947 is the worst example of terrorism in the world.

He maintained that the population of Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir was more than 80% before 1947 but they were converted into minorities through a designed conspiracy.

“Since 1947 to till date, Indian extremists are engaged in genocide of Muslims in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir” Ghazali added.

Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Vice-chairman International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Mushtaq Ul Islam, Shaukat Javed Mir, Azmat Hayat Kashmiri, Usman Ali Hashim including representatives of different political and religious organisations were also present on the occasion.

Rally was organised in remembrance of the martyrs of November 1947 Jammu and Kashmir Martyrs.
