Ningxia China Friendship Car Rally warmly welcomed

KARACHI: There are several other development projects ahead in the CPEC, the car rally is connecting people of China and Pakistan through its extensive road constructions as well as Pak-China Industrial Corridor will Boost Pakistan’s economy and exports, said Col Mansoor Ahsen of FWO.

While Talking exclusively to Daily Times, after his China visits regarding China Friendship Car Rally Frontier Works Organization (FWO) Col. General Staff said that the rally will be conducted through different routes via Punjab, Sindh and Gwadar , later to Iran and then UAE, similarly other activities mean to highlight the significance of the economic and strategic importance of the Gawadar port.

Col. Mansoor said Chinese and Pakistani leaders are determined to work for its successful implementation in connecting Gwadar with China’s Kashgar through Karakorum Highway and other national routes linking Pakistans Balochistan and Frontier provinces in one of the most passionate works. He told that about 870 KMs road have been completed by the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO).

Coordinator Ningxia China Friendship Car Rally Mujeeb Alam told that 52 people of Ningxia China Friendship Car Rally in 20 cars and a large number of local caravan are reaching Karachi in protocol on Friday, the rally was largely warm welcomed by the hundreds of citizens, civil society members and officials in every city the touched on routes of National Highway in Sindh province.

Mujeeb Alam said the Chinese voyagers are delighted with the warm welcome they have received during China Friendship Car and everywhere they went were received with traditional style of hospitality in particular. The guests were received with the display of cultural dances and folk songs here in Sindh province on the occasions .

According to the schedule, the participants of Ningxia China Friendship Car Rally will stay in Karachi for three days till 23rd October, with full of activities, after their visit of Mohenjo Daro via Hyderabad to Karachi, their visits to the historical buildings including Chaukhandi and National Museum and Jinnah Mausoleum are also scheduled.
