Six boys, including three brothers, have gone missing from Sukkur. As per details, six boys, including Muhammad Qasim, Muhammad Baqar, Muhammad Younus Ansari, Ehtsham Ansari, Asim, Hamad had gone to play cricket from their houses situated in Quince Road area on Friday evening. When they did not return after a while, their parents started searching for them. Yet, all such efforts were of no avail.
The parents, then, informed C-section police station and met with Sukkur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Irfan Samo. The SSP assured them that the missing boys would be returned to their parents very soon. They initiated their investigation using technical support while a special team has also been formed to recover the boys.
The media sources were told that police was also probing whether boys had gone missing or were kidnapped. Meanwhile, the mobile phone of a missing boy was switched off after midnight. Amid such unsafe times, uncertainty prevails the hearts pf people in Sukkur and its adjacent areas. Meanwhile, the kidnappers demanded a ransom to the tune of one million rupees for the release of two boys from Sukkur.
According to details, two cousins, Liaqat Ali Malik and Gulzar Malik of Dadu canal and Bachal Miani had gone missing a month earlier. Their abduction was confirmed after 15 days when bandits demanded Rs 3 million ransom for their release. A week later, the kidnapper lowered the ransom to Rs 1 million and threatened the parents that failure to comply with their demands would result in the loss of their boys. The police also confirmed their abduction and the ransom demand through technical support.
