Justice required, not iron fist for all

June 18, 2019 by Major Dr Muhammad Ali

The political economy of the country is under severe pressure. The American dollar is getting costlier and the government is unable to do anything about it. Is this a part of a deal with the International Monetary Fund? The government should make its deal with the IMF transparent.

The political temperature is getting very hot and high under already high natural temperature and two leading political parties are getting united day by day to challenge the IK Government in and out of Parliament and the Senate. Approval of the National Budget FY 2019-2020 is also at stake and even if it gets approved with marginal majority and situation of law and order inside and outside the parliament will be a great question as to how to resolves people issues from the parliament. Use of un-parliamentary language is the order of the day on various talk shows, meetings and get together which is a great cause of concern amongst the educated youth of the country.

There is already so much pressure on Eastern and Western borders of the country which cannot bear internal pressures at all. New strategies of breaking the country by weakening the military, political and economic forces are being applied by our enemies hence the political forces must come to a point where their differences are amicably removed and justice for peace and welfare of the country must win.

Situation on Eastern border with India is still very tense. Army is keeping cat eyes on every movement. None can afford a nuclear war specially so when their masses are largely sufferings from poverty and disease. International actors do want it for their strategic goals to achieve to keep the situation hot on the globe and that must be understood by both governments having nuclear capabilities. Armies must go back to their barracks graceful and stay peaceful. Military commands of both the countries understand what horrors nuclear war might bring to this region in particular and world in general, hence the political leaderships must negotiate and settle all outstanding issues including IHK with the mediation of international actor which should be acceptable to both countries. Pakistan Army is already in full determination and professional excellence due to war on terror and this was even seen in air skirmishes in recent past between the two countries. UNO must take lead in IHK issue and get it settled as per the wishes of the people of IHK. Time is passing rapidly and our adversaries must read the recent history of Pak army and draw lessons for their own savings well in time besides thinking to undertake any new misadventure, that might ignite the entire region in fire.

Use of iron hands for justice for all is highly appreciated but a media trial is not appreciated. This may be the core reason for culprits not to admitting their wrongdoings

Government must bring back looted money from abroad and at home and continue accountability with iron hands as part of their responsibilities but making majority masses confused and psychologically upsetting is not a way. Earlier on the daily happening of the work of the ex CJP was also not appreciated by the masses as majority had nothing to do with those happenings.

People of Pakistan in various cities and villages are feeling unease due to political economic crisis in the country. Government steps are all lawful but needs the be understand by the masses who are mostly illiterate and under total influence of their federal lords.

Today the situation of law and order can be handled with wisdom and better planning but tomorrow if it goes out of control than the masses will suffer more and poor will become poorer to the poorest. Use of iron hands for justice for all is highly appreciated but the media trial in front of all walks of people are not appreciated and perhaps this may be the core reason for culprits not to admit their wrong doings in front of the general masses . No one is above law. All are accountable to the state and Government must put their equal hands on alike and continue its good work for the betterment of the country.

Each and every complaint of the opponents must be addressed at once so that no one makes fool of each other by misguiding the masses. Extra care is needed in all corruption cases as they are more in number and legal procedures are lengthy and complicated besides time consuming. From now onwards the Government internal audits must be of international standard and timely so that after many years there should be no complaint.

There is trust deficit on government and her organs like judiciary and NAB by the opposition parties. People are psychologically upset to see every day chorus on mass media tools and it is important that all stake holders sit together and find permanent solutions to check corruption, inefficiency, money laundering, political bribery, unjust , favoritism and illiteracy and that’s is possible by reforms in economics, political, taxation and in all social sectors such as education and health. Political success needs continuation and trust in political system both by the leaders and led, that what seems missing at the moment

Present opposition is very strong both in terms of political and professional experience and it should be well understood by those who are at helm of affairs. Negotiation with them is the only solution.
