Will 2019 be the year of the Obos?

Published on: January 2, 2019 1:23 AM

Bon appétit!

Rio recently acquainted us and our children with its first ever animated characters, called the Obos! Their happy personalities and naughty nature have become the most loved amongst children and grown-ups.

As irresistible as this may sound, the Obos seems to possess a unique charm which has enabled them to find a way straight to the children’s hearts. So far, these adorable blue creatures have already taken centre stage in Pakistan’s children entertainment industry with their unique language and hilariously adorable antics. In addition, launching an entirely new animated character from scratch is undoubtedly a commendable presentation and the skill with which the Rio platform has executed the entire campaign is praiseworthy.

The mischievous and fun activities of the Obos are so endearing to watch that they hold immense entertainment value. The one-minute long television story gives us a glimpse into the adventurous world of the Obos, each with their own individualistic quirks

Despite being engaged in various activities throughout the story, we notice that Rio brings them all together for celebration and fun. It also has brought forward a sense of amusement and impulsiveness as the characters cannot resist reaching out for delicious creamy crunchy treats in the form of biscuits which they call Birthday Sprinkles & Cream.

The animated story, which is powered by Peek Freans, seems to also touch the lives of a large number of people of all ages, with its novel and imaginative image. Indeed, wholesome entertainment for our children.
