The longest blood moon of this century

Published on: July 26, 2018 10:28 PM

The day of July 27 is going to be interesting as the moon will turn red.

It’s going to be the longest lunar eclipse of the century and this lunar eclipse will occur on a full moon. This rare lunar eclipse will last for one hour, 42 minutes and 55 seconds, though the partial eclipse will remain on the moon for 4 hours. In Pakistan, it will appear around 10:15 pm.

It will start on Friday night as the moon rises. Unlike a solar eclipse no special equipment or glasses will be needed to view a total lunar eclipse, although a cloud free weather will be needed. Blood moon can be fully witnessed in the areas of eastern Africa, central Asia, and the Middle East. North America will be unable to see that glam.
